Collection: Compostable Sponges & Scourers

Plastic sponges and scourers shed microplastics down the drain every time you wash up, and they can't be recycled. These are made from cellulose, loofah and plant fibre instead — they work the same way, and they compost when they finally wear out.

The range covers soft cellulose sponges for everyday washing up, tougher scourers for baked-on pans, and mixed bundles with several textures for different jobs around the kitchen.

To make them last, wring them out and let them dry between uses rather than leaving them sitting in the sink. Most can go through the dishwasher or a hot wash to sanitise them.
